Friendship test: do you two actually click?
This friendship test compares two people. You answer 12 questions, about 90 seconds, and send your friend a link. When they finish the same questions, they see your match score right away and can send it back to you. It’s free to play, with no app and no sign-up.
How it works
- Tap Test myself first and pick your birth month and day. We never ask for the year.
- Answer 12 questions.
- Add a nickname, tap Send a match link and send it in any chat app.
- Your friend opens the link and answers the same 12 questions. Your match score appears as soon as they finish.
- They tap Send the result back, and you open it to see the same score.
This isn’t a quiz about you
A lot of friend quizzes work the other way round: you write questions about yourself and your friend guesses the answers. This one doesn’t test how well anyone knows you, and nobody has to guess. It compares how you each answer, so it works just as well with someone you met last week as with a friend of ten years.
What the score reads
Two things only: four personality dimensions from your answers (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P) and your zodiac element (fire, earth, air or water) from your birth month and day. Here are three made-up people, scored by the same code the game uses, with the reason it gives for each pair:
| Pair | Score | The reason shown |
|---|---|---|
| Mia (ENTP) × Ana (INFP) | 89 · Partners in crime | You read the world the same way — no translation needed; One radiates, one absorbs — the rhythm works; Fire × Fire elements agree. |
| Mia (ENTP) × Sam (ISFJ) | 55 · Glorious chaos | One zooms in, one zooms out — complementary, needs patience; One radiates, one absorbs — the rhythm works; Fire × Earth — sparks fly, batteries drain. |
| Sam (ISFJ) × Ana (INFP) | 52 · Glorious chaos | One zooms in, one zooms out — complementary, needs patience; Earth × Fire — sparks fly, batteries drain. |
What a score doesn’t mean
A low score says nothing about your friendship. The test doesn’t know your history, and it can’t tell a best friend from a stranger. Half the fun is arguing with it. Take it for a laugh and something to talk about, not as a verdict on anyone.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. The test, the match link, the score and a longer deep report for the pair are all free right now.
Does my friend need an app or an account?
No. The link opens in their browser.
What can my friend see?
The link carries the nickname you typed, your 16 Types code and your star sign, but not your birthday. That part of the address is never sent to a server, but anyone you send the link to can see it. Read the privacy page.
Can I take it with a partner?
Yes. The questions and the score work for any two people. It’s a game, not relationship advice.
