Introvert or extrovert test: find out, then compare
This test shows which way you lean, as a percentage rather than a label, and lets you compare with a friend. 3 of its 12 questions are about introversion and extraversion, and it takes about 90 seconds with no app or sign-up. It’s a game, not a psychological assessment.
The questions on this
These are the 3 questions in the quick test that decide your E/I result:
- Getting home after a party, you usually… Wish it had gone longer / Finally, quiet. You need to recharge alone
- In a room of strangers, you… Warm up fast / Wait for someone else to start
- To think something complex through, you… Talk it out with someone / Go quiet until it is clear
The other 9 questions cover three more dimensions, which make up your full 16 Types result.
What you’ll see
A bar from E to I with a percentage, next to the same bars for your other three dimensions. With 3 questions on this, treat it as a rough read. The full test asks 8 real-life questions on this dimension alone, on a five-point scale, and takes about five minutes for the whole thing.
What if you’re somewhere in the middle?
Then that’s your answer. The full test says so when you sit near the middle, rather than forcing a letter on you. These words aren’t two boxes: Carl Jung, who gave them their psychological meaning, described them as attitudes. There’s more on that in our short history.
Compare with a friend
After the test, send a match link. When your friend finishes, you both see your match score. A quiet person and a loud one don’t automatically score low: when the two differ on this, the reason the game usually gives is “One radiates, one absorbs — the rhythm works.”
Questions
Is this an official or clinical test?
No. It’s a simplified popular-psychology quiz, built for fun and conversation. It can’t diagnose anything.
Why does it ask for my birthday?
The game also uses your zodiac element as a personality label when it scores a match. It asks for the month and day only, and never the year.
